When someone suggested that I go outside to look at the sun this morning, I had no idea what I would find. The sun surrounded by the rainbow was an image that brought immense joy. It felt that despite all the homophobia, transphobia and queerphobia that we experience under these Ethiopian skies, this was a day where the sun decided to shine for us queer people.
